A Small Introduction
We are just a normal Canadian family, still in awe of the direction that our life has taken, of how the Lord has equipped and enabled this remarkable journey to half a world away. Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that we would be living and serving in the country of Papua New Guinea, providing the people in the remote corners of the jungle with services to aid their physical needs as well as assisting others in providing the gospel message.
In this new term we look forward to what the Lord has in store. May we be in tune with his leading.

Favourite things about PNG
JasonI am so blessed to be doing something that I love. It is amazing to be able to get a birds eye view of the Lords creation while I fly into some of the most remote places on earth.
Flying in a different country has many challenges the least of which is getting the animals sorted out. ' Is that a weasel on the strip, oh no wait a minute this is PNG, that is an alligator!' |
MelanieGreen, Green, Green! I love discovering all of the different plants that grow in a tropical country.
Things don't always turn out like I have planned, like the time my tomatoes died but the stick that I was staking them to sprouted roots and grew.I am learning to expect the unexpected! |
KalebHas to be about the pets! It is really cool to be able to have some interesting critters as pets for a time and learn about them. The funniest thing was seeing our blue tongued skink sneeze soursop out of his nose.

CarterSome of my greatest memories would also be of our exotic pets. I really enjoyed our black capped lori, Yogi. It was a great source of entertainment watching him as he wrestled with bread and swung upside down from his elastic bungee cord that we rigged for him in his cage.
