Well we are once again at this stage, Pretty much chaos! Trying to fit all of our things into boxes and making all of those last minute decisions about what to do with the the the odds and ends, where it should go and do we really need that anyway?? The farther I get into this process the less I need. Must say I am not a happy packer.
But for now most of that is done (now just trying to squeeze all of our stuff for 3 years (cloths, books, balls, tools, yarn, spices, tea, chocolate chips, nuts, shoes, toiletries (that is a lot of deodorant and gel), curtains, a bike, and all the stuff that goes along, frying pan, craft paper, thread...) into our bags and totes before we head back to PNG. I think we are going to need a few more bags! Thankfully British Airways was very generous with there luggage allowance!
We are excited to be heading back to PNG to be able to reconnect with friends and carry on with the work that we have been prepared for however this part of the journey is also difficult as it means we have to say good-bye to friends and loved ones here in Canada.
As I was telling one of my boys over tears, I guess we can count it a blessing that there are two places in this world that we long to be.
